James grew up in Markham, Ontario and is the baby of the family, having grown up with two older sisters. James participated in competitive hockey growing up and played for the Markham Waxers as well Thornhill Islanders.

James is married and has two children who also play soccer, baseball and competitive hockey for the Waxers and Markham Stouffville Stars.

When James is not working, you can find him at the hockey rink, golf course or spending time with family and friends.

James’s passion for his community is outspoken as he is consistently volunteering or finding ways to help out where needed. His calm temperament and consideration for others is top of his priorities, ensuring everyone he encounters receives a big smile and friendly greeting!
