McHappy Day 2026: How One Day at McDonald’s Connects to Something Bigger

There’s something powerful about ordinary places becoming extraordinary for a day.
On May 6th, our team stepped behind the counter at McDonald’s for McHappy Day. Not as realtors. Just as people showing up for something bigger than themselves.
Why it matters
On McHappy Day, 10% of every food and beverage purchase supports Ronald McDonald House Charities, including the Ronald McDonald Room at Markham Stouffville Hospital. That room is where families take a breath between difficult moments. Where they find a bit of normal in the middle of uncertainty.
Small contributions, multiplied across a community, create something meaningful.
The reason we show up
We talk about homes every day. But a home is more than a property. It’s stability, comfort, and safety. For families supported by Ronald McDonald House, that sense of home becomes even more important when everything else feels uncertain.
Showing up for McHappy Day isn’t a marketing exercise. It’s alignment with what we actually believe: that the work we do should connect to something deeper than a transaction.
A different kind of team day
We spent the day taking orders, pouring coffee, and meeting people from our community in a completely different setting. What stood out wasn’t the busyness. It was that people came because they wanted to be part of something.
That’s the kind of community we believe in building.

Every bit helps. And every bit connects.
